Greetings!
For any of you new to this site, I helped the Crist Family update this site during the National Quartet Convention last month. I so enjoyed that that I didn’t have to think twice when I heard they were coming north to Ohio last Sunday to help the Calvary Baptist Church celebrate its 50th.
Incidentally, even aside from the music, the service was memorable on its own account. The pastor delivered what is easily the most memorable sermon I’ve sat through when attending a Sunday concert. Instead of using the occasion of the church’s 50th anniversary to pat the church on the back and congratulate them on the occasion, the pastor (who has been there for 30 of those 50 years) challenged the church that it had become complacent and that it needed to return to the pioneer spirit of its early days. The anointing was so strong that he even broke down crying near the end. It was powerful and well delivered.
The Crist Family sang several songs during the morning service, and a full afternoon concert later. To start the second half of the program, they sang “I Must Tell Jesus” without any amplification:
Also, since Breana and I had so much fun with this type-off, we taped another. She’s adding sound effects right now, and we hope to have it up in a few days.

Great song!!! I look forward to seeing you guys again at Dollywood this weekend.

Reply to Mark CahoonLooking forward to seeing you at Dollywood. I’m surprise they have you guys singing at the back porch theater, but you’ll still be the Crist Family. See you there.
Reply to Don ByrdI guess they have one less indoor theater this year because of the new big show they have in Celebrity. We got the draw for being outside so we will make the best of it. Fortunately the weather is supposed to be nice the two days we are there. We will sing our best and look forward to seeing you there!!

This was the first time we have seen your group.
Reply to JImBIt was at the first show at the “outdoor theater”
at Dollywood on Monday. The crowd was huge. The
songs were wonderful and touched our hearts. Keep
up the great work and know that the Lord will
bless your ministry. It is great to see a family
sold out to the Lord and blending so many
voices in a wonderful way. We will be praying
for your family and look forward to seeing more
of you in the future.

Reply to JeffHey guys, When I click on you tube the suggested song “My Heart Knows” comes up but it’s not listed anywhere down below in the song titles. It’s getting a lot of play on 96.3. It is a wonderful song.

Reply to mark cahoonI first heard of your family on EnLighten radio several weeks ago when the most beautiful song I have heard in a long time come to my ears and right to my heart. I has touched me in ways I can hardly say. “My Heart Knows” is so touching and true. I realize you did not write it, however your groups delivery of it truly inspires me as I suspect, everyone else as well. I would love to see a soundtrack of the song sometime soon. A mp3 download would be great..May our GOD richly bless you all and your ministry in Jesus Christ. May GOD keep you safe and sound as you travel the highways while on you way to somewhere else to bring your music of heaven to a hurting and lost people. I am now and will always be your faithful servant in Christ Jesus. You are in my prayers, unceasing. Thank you.

I wanted to let you know once again how much we were blessed by your songs and testimonies. Our church family (Pine Level Baptist Church) was still talking about how blessed they were last Sunday night. I know God has His loving and mighty hands on the Crist Family. I am looking forward to see where God is going to take you. Last night after church several got together and watched the Branson, Missouri DVD. WOW!! Once again we were so blessed and God was there in the midst. Even though we were in Dot’s living room, we felt the presence of our Heavenly Father. Where two or three are gathered together in His name, He will be there. Praise God. I pray that God will lovingly place our church in your path again. Until then you will be in our prayers. Reply to Beverly DanfordI have come to really enjoy The Crist Family. Haven’t had the priviledge to enjoy and see them in a concert yet but I hope to get that opportunity one day. I have downloaded some of their songs, (mp3), individually and really like their earlier material a little bit better but nevertheless, I like em’ a whole bunch!!
